Website design in Foxrock

Foxrock is a parade, a church and a great many gates. The village is the short run of shops where Brighton Road meets Torquay Road, with the church nearby and the racecourse at Leopardstown next door, and everything else is houses: big ones, detached, on roads like Westminster Road and Kill Lane, with gardens that need a crew and gates that need an electrician. Website design in Foxrock is for two groups: the professionals who live here and increasingly work from here, and the trades who look after the houses.

There is no DART and no Luas in the village itself. People drive, or walk down to the N11 at Cornelscourt for the bus, and the Luas is a drive away at Carrickmines or Leopardstown. We are Dublin based and we come to the house or the office.

Who buys here and how

A Foxrock household buys services the way it buys everything: on recommendation, then verified. The solicitor is the one a neighbour used for the house sale. The accountant came from the golf club. The painter did the house across the road and the finish was good. Then, before the call, a search: the name, the practice, “solicitor Foxrock”, “architect Dublin 18”, “interior designer south Dublin”. What they expect to find is a page that reads the way the practice sounds: calm, specific, with real names and a proper email address rather than a Gmail.

Trades get the quicker version. “Electric gate repair Foxrock”, “tree surgeon Foxrock”, “alarm installer D18”, typed from the kitchen the morning after something broke. The map result with the right area, photos of similar houses and a number that answers wins those.

Being found from a home office

Foxrock’s Eircodes start with D18, the Dublin 18 district it shares with Cabinteely, Leopardstown, Sandyford and Stepaside. A professional working from a house on Westminster Road does not want the house on the map, and does not have to. Google allows a listing that shows the area rather than the address, and the site can say Foxrock and Dublin 18 plainly while giving a phone, a form and an email on your own domain as the ways in.

That email matters more than people think. A practice that writes from a free webmail address looks temporary. Getting business email on your own domain explains the options; on Complete we set it up as part of the plan.

The racecourse next door

Leopardstown brings crowds to the edge of Foxrock for the Christmas festival and the February meeting, and some of them search for a lunch, a taxi or a barber while they are here. It is a small part of the year and mostly Leopardstown’s business rather than Foxrock’s, but any food business on this side of the racecourse should have its race-day hours right on Google, because that is when strangers are looking.

Kinds of business with no page

Foxrock has car valeters who do the drive on a Thursday, personal trainers in the garden gym, landscapers who have never advertised, alterations done from a front room, music teachers for the children. Most run on a mobile number and a few Instagram posts. A simple page with the service, the area and a WhatsApp button means the next client, who is searching rather than asking, can actually find them. What a small business website should include is the short list we build from.

Plans

Essentials is €499 to set up and €50 a month. Complete is €1,499 and €100 a month and adds bookings, payments, review requests, live chat, business email and the managed Google profile. Everything is on the pricing page, and the solicitors page shows the quieter kind of site a practice needs.

Questions from Foxrock

I run my practice from home in Foxrock. Should the site show my address?

Not the door number, unless you see clients there. Google allows a listing that keeps the house private while showing Foxrock and Dublin 18 as the area. The site names the area and gives a phone, an email on your own domain and a form; that is enough for a professional practice.

Will you come to Foxrock to meet?

Yes. We meet Dublin clients in person and Foxrock is a normal visit, at the house, the office or the parade in the village. Ten minutes and a cup of tea is usually enough, and the first draft follows within days.

How much is it, and is VAT included?

Essentials is €499 to set up and €50 a month; Complete is €1,499 and €100 a month. Both prices exclude VAT. Complete adds bookings, payments, review requests, live chat, business email on your domain and the managed Google profile. No contract, 30 days' notice.

Do I need the Complete plan for a solicitor's office?

Usually not to start. Essentials gives you the site, the domain, the Google listing and changes by WhatsApp. Practices move to Complete when they want email on their own domain, online appointment booking and someone keeping the Google profile current every month.
