Someone searching “car valeting Dublin” or “mobile valet near me” has a car with a problem they can name: dog hair, a child’s car seat that has seen things, a car going up for sale next week, or three years of motorway grime they want gone before a wedding. They want to know what a full valet costs for their size of car, whether you come to them or they come to you, how long it takes, and when you can do it. Websites for car valeting in Dublin win when the price list is clear, the booking is two taps, and the photos show a car like theirs.
Price by vehicle size, not by phone call
Valeting prices well. A mini valet, a full valet, an interior deep clean, a pre-sale valet, a machine polish, and the extras (pet hair, seat shampoo, odour treatment, headlight restoration, engine bay) each get a price for small, medium, SUV and seven-seater or van. Put the table on the page with what each package includes, and the “how much for a Qashqai with dog hair” messages stop, because the answer is there. Ceramic coatings and paint correction are quoted after seeing the car, and the page says that.
Mobile, or at the unit
If you come to the customer, say which areas, what you need from them (a driveway or a space, access to water and power, or neither if you carry your own), and what happens if it rains. If you work from a unit, say where it is, the hours, whether they can wait or drop and collect, and how parking works. Plenty of valeters do both, and the booking form asks which the customer wants before it shows the times.
Deposits, no-shows and the Saturday morning hole
A full valet blocks out half a morning. When the customer does not show, that half morning is gone. The booking system takes a deposit on anything over an hour, sends a reminder the day before, and makes rescheduling easy so people move the slot instead of skipping it. You set the deposit and the cancellation window, and the money goes to your account. How to take deposits online in Ireland covers what is fair to ask and how to word it.
Vouchers are the other half of the money side. A full valet is a Christmas present, a Father’s Day present and a new car present, and selling vouchers from the site in December and June, paid by card or Apple Pay, is income you did not have to lift a sponge for.
Before and after, in your own light
The photo pair is the sale: a footwell full of crumbs and the same footwell clean, a swirl-marked bonnet under a light and the corrected paint. Shoot the after shots in the same spot, wipe the lens, and use the real cars that come through, not a supercar you saw once. Short video clips suit Instagram, and the site links to your account, but a website does different work from Instagram: the price, the booking and the Google search all live on the site.
Spring salt, summer sand, December vouchers
The year starts in March when the winter salt and grime come off, runs through the summer with holiday cars and pre-sale valets, and finishes with vouchers in December. Rain moves mobile bookings around, and the edit page lets you post “weather permitting, mobile slots this week” or “voucher orders by the 20th for Christmas” from your phone.
Reviews finish the sale. Valeting is a trust trade, because you are handing someone your keys, and the valeter with recent reviews describing the state of the car before and after gets picked. Complete texts the review link when the car is handed back.
What we need
Your price list by package and vehicle size, your extras, your areas if mobile and your unit’s address and hours if not, your deposit and cancellation rule, twenty before and after pairs, your voucher wording, and your number. Ten minutes, and it is live within a few days.
Plan
Complete, at €1,499 to set up and €100 a month, is the plan with bookings, deposits, vouchers, the review text and the chat box, and it is the one we recommend if you take bookings at all. Essentials, at €499 and €50 a month, gives a walk-in unit the site, the price list, the Google listing and the monthly report. Both are on the pricing page, and how to take online bookings explains how the slots, reminders and deposits fit together.
