Websites for butchers in Dublin

People ring a butcher for three reasons: to ask are you open, to ask have you got something, and to order. The same three show up in what they type into Google: “butchers near me”, “butcher open Sunday”, “turkey order Dublin” from the middle of November. If you are looking at websites for butchers in Dublin, build it around those three calls, because the ones the page answers are calls you do not have to take with a knife in your hand.

We build the page, run it, keep the Google listing straight and send you the numbers each month. You look after the counter.

Are you open?

A butcher’s hours are their own. Closed Sunday and Monday, or open Sunday morning for the roast and closed Monday instead. A half day somewhere in the week. Bank holiday Mondays that depend on the weather. Christmas week, when the collections are on the 23rd and Christmas Eve and the shop is dark until after New Year. The Google listing has to match all of it, because Google prints “Closed” beside your name when it thinks you are shut, and nobody rings to check.

We set the listing up with the right hours, categories and photos, and show you how to change the hours yourself when a bank holiday is coming. The step by step is in setting up a Google Business Profile in Ireland, and the pin matters too, because a new customer is often looking for you from the car.

Have you got…?

The second call is about stock, and the page answers it with a plain list of what you keep and what you are known for. Dry-aged beef if you hang it, your own sausages and puddings, spiced beef in December, free-range chicken, Irish lamb, the stuffed fillets and the kebabs, the freezer packs and the meal deals. If the meat comes from named farms or a particular county, say so. If you are in a quality scheme, name it. Only what is true, in your words.

This is also where AI search comes in. When someone asks ChatGPT “where can I get spiced beef in Dublin” or asks Google’s AI about a butcher that dry-ages, the answer comes from pages the tools can read. Plain facts, a question and answer section and the structured data we add behind the scenes give them something to work with. We will not promise you will be the answer, and we explain why in what AI search means for a local business.

A “this week” box at the top of the page carries the deal, the new line or the special order you have coming in. You type it on Monday from the shop phone. Photographs should be the counter full on a Saturday morning, the sausage machine, the beef hanging if you hang it, and you behind the counter. A customer trusts a face more than a logo.

we want to order

The third call is the one you want. For the ordinary week it is “can you have two chickens boned and stuffed for Friday”, and the call button at the top of the page gets it to you. For the barbecue season it is the first warm bank holiday weekend, when a packs page with a from-price and “order the day before” on it saves you explaining the same thing fifty times. For Easter it is the lamb.

Christmas is the order book. Turkey sizes and what feeds how many, fresh or free-range, hams on or off the bone, spiced beef, the date orders open, the date they close, the collection days. All of it on the page and on the listing by the start of November. On Complete, customers pay a deposit by card when they order, so the book fills itself and the deposit is in your account before the birds arrive. If you deliver, the page lists the days and the areas.

The list we need from behind the counter

What you stock and what you are known for, your hours including Christmas week, the format of your weekly deal, your Christmas order rules, delivery details if you deliver, whether you take card, a dozen photos and the number for orders. Ten minutes at the counter after the morning rush, or by phone if you are outside Dublin.

The cost for a butcher’s

Essentials at €499 to set up and €50 a month is enough for most butchers: the site, the listing, the edit page and the monthly report. Complete at €1,499 and €100 a month adds card deposits for the Christmas book, a review text after collection and ads if you want them for November. Both are set out on the pricing page. The fishmongers page covers the same ground for the counter next door, where the stock changes every morning.

What your site includes

The parts that matter most for your trade first, then everything else in the plan.

  • Google Business Profile set-up

We claim your Google Business Profile, or create one, and get it verified. Hours, categories, services and photos are set so your listing matches your website.

    More about this

  • Edit it yourself from your phone

You get a private edit page that opens from a secure link in your email, with no password to remember. Change your hours, prices, services or photos, or post an announcement such as a bank holiday closure, and it is live the moment you save.

    More about this

  • Call, WhatsApp and directions buttons

Every page carries buttons that call you, open WhatsApp or open directions in Google Maps. A customer on a phone never has to copy a number.

    More about this

  • Found in AI search (AEO)

AEO means making your site easy for AI search tools to read. We add structured data, an llms.txt file and clear question-and-answer content, so when someone asks ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini or Google AI about your trade in your area, the answer can include your business with the right hours and prices.

    More about this

  • Review growth

After a visit, your customer receives a short text or email asking for a Google review, with a link straight to the review form. More reviews with less chasing. We never write reviews on anyone's behalf.

Also in the Essentials plan

Which plan fits

We would recommend Essentials: €499 to set up, then €49 a month. No contract. Cancel at any time with 30 days' notice.

A butcher is found and rung, and the page's job is to be right about hours, stock and the Christmas order dates so that the calls that come are orders. Essentials covers that, with a Google listing done properly and a page you edit yourself when the weekly deal changes. Complete makes sense if you want to take Christmas and barbecue orders with a card deposit, send a review text after collection, or run ads in the turkey season.

Questions butchers ask us

Can the page take the turkey and ham orders?

Yes. On Essentials the page carries the dates, the sizes and what to tell you, and the order comes in by phone or the enquiry form for you to confirm. On Complete the customer pays a deposit by card on the site when they order, so the order book fills itself and the deposit is in your account before the bird is.

I change the deals every week. Do I have to ring you?

No. The edit page opens from a link in your email, and the 'this week' box is a line you type and save on Monday morning. It is live straight away, and Google reads it. If you would rather text the deal to us on WhatsApp, we post it the same day.

Will the site say where our meat comes from?

If you want it to, yes, in your words: the farms or the county, the breed, whether you dry-age on the premises, any quality scheme you are part of. We only write down what you tell us and can stand over. Customers ask this more than they used to, and a plain answer on the page is worth more than any slogan.

Everyone finds us on Google Maps already. What does a site add?

The map card holds your hours and your phone number and not much else. The site holds what you stock, the Christmas rules, the barbecue packs, the delivery days and the answers to the questions people ring with. Google reads the site to decide how to describe you, and so do the AI assistants people are starting to ask instead.

We are outside Dublin. Does it work the same way?

Yes. The first chat is by phone or video call instead of across the counter, and everything after that is the same: WhatsApp for changes, a report each month, and the edit page on your own phone. Butchers in every county have the same hours problem and the same Christmas rush.

People don't review butchers, do they?

They do, especially after Christmas when the turkey was good. A small card by the till with a QR code to your review link picks up a steady trickle on both plans. On Complete, a text after a collection order with the same link is where the bulk of them come from. We never write reviews for anyone.

What does a butcher's site cost?

Essentials is €499 to set up and €50 a month, and it covers the site, the .ie domain in your name, the Google listing and the monthly report. Complete is €1,499 and €100 a month if you want deposits, reviews, ads or the chat box. Cancel with 30 days' notice, no exit fee.
