Bookings
How customers book through AI assistants
Many people now use assistants on their phones and computers: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and others. On the Complete plan, a customer can ask one of those assistants to book with you, and it can check your availability and make the booking.
In plain terms: we connect your booking calendar to the assistants using a standard method called MCP. MCP is a way for one piece of software to ask another a question, such as "does this barber have a free slot on Saturday?". You do not need to know how it works. Every booking lands in your calendar like any other.
An example conversation
This is an example, to show the idea. It is not a real customer.
Example only
Book me a skin fade at Fade & Co. in Dublin on Saturday, whatever's around 11.
The assistant checks the shop's availability
Fade & Co. has 11:15 on Saturday with Danny. Skin fade is €25 and takes 30 minutes. Want me to book it?
Yes, and add a beard trim.
The assistant books it and sends a confirmation
Done. Saturday 11:15, skin fade and beard trim with Danny. You'll get a text the day before.
The chat assistant on your site
Complete also puts a chat box on your site.
-
Trained on your details
It answers questions about your hours, prices, services and anything else we add to its knowledge, such as parking or gift vouchers.
-
Hands off to you
If it cannot answer, it offers to pass the customer to you on WhatsApp, so no enquiry is lost.
-
Nothing hidden
You can read every conversation. If it says something wrong, tell us and we correct it.
Where it fits
AI assistant booking and the chat box are part of Complete, along with online bookings and payments.
